Free EDA Software Projects
This page lists projects designed to bring free (open-source) EDA
software to Linux. If you are running such a project, please

yaEDA
yaEDA is a project to provide a complete EDA toolkit
package for Linux. So far they've got an alpha release
of the LibraryEditor, which will ultimately be followed
by a Schematic Editor, PCB Editor, Autoplacer,
and Auto Router. If you're interested in helping, they're
looking for programmers!

gEDA
gEDA is a project designed to bring free schematic capture and
design entry tools to Linux. For more information, see the

FreeHDL
FreeHDL will be a free VHDL simulator for Linux, possibly
including Verilog later on. For more information, see the
